For players wishing to play at a higher level, RYSA offers the Select program for players U13 through U19, as well as the U-10, U-11 and U12 Academy programs.

The RYSA Select Program provides players with a highly competitive level of play. Player tryouts are held in May and June each year. The RYSA Coaching staff evaluates the skills, potential and enthusiasm of each player. Placement on a team is not guaranteed. Players not accepted to the Select Program are encouraged to join the RYSA Recreational League in order to develop their skills for next year.

A serious commitment is required to participate in the select program. Players are asked to commit to two or three practices per week and one to two games each weekend during the season. Additionally, teams may participate in various tournaments, sometimes traveling out of state.

Each select team at RYSA is coached by a professional, licensed coach.
