Matty Kirk
Matty Kirk comes to RYSA from the Warrior Soccer Association in Austin Texas. Matty started with Warrior Soccer in 2003 and also served as an ODP scout for the
South Texas ODP Program. Matty was with CASL in
Raleigh , N.C. where he coached from 1999-2003. As a staff coach with CASL, Matty facilitated training for the U9/U10 age groups, and the Academy training pools. In addition, he was a CASL elite boys team trainer that won a Southern Regional championship with the U14 boys while losing on PKs in the USYSA National Championship. Matty has also been a staff coach for the DSA
Greenville South Carolina Soccer Club. As a player, Matty played college soccer for
Clemson
University from 1990 to 1993. At the professional level, Matty played in the USISL and A-league from 1994 to 1997 for the Columbia Heat, Hampton Roads Mariners and
South Carolina Shamrocks. Matty holds an NSCAA Advanced Coaching Diploma and USSF "B" License.
Matty has been with RYSA since June 2005.

Chris Young played college soccer for Union College in 1997 and
Lander
University in 1998. Graduated from
Armstrong
Atlantic
State
University in 2001. Chris coached for Savannah Fire Soccer Club and St. Vincent’s
Academy
High School in 2002-2003. Chris relocated from Savannah to Atlanta in summer 2003 to pursue coaching youth soccer full time, working for Concorde Fire until joining RYSA in January of 2005. USSF "B" License. ODP boys evaluator fall 2005 and an ODP Staff coach in 2007-2008. Chris is currently living in Conyers with his wife, Michelle, and two dogs, Charlie & Lucy.
