G Coaching Course - Free
This course is aimed at coaches and parents of U-6 and U-8 players. The course is four hours long and provides fun activities that enhance players’ skill development. Attendance is required to receive the G Certificate. If you are coaching U-6 and U-8, you must start at the ‘G’ course. Previous playing or coaching experience cannot be used to waive the ‘G’ if you are coaching U-6. No exceptions. If you are coaching U-8, you can start at either the ’G’ or the ’F’ course. Minimum of 5 registrations required to hold class. This course is offered free of charge to GYSA members 
 
F Coaching Course - Free
The ’F’ course is tailored for the coach who is working with U-10 and U-12 recreational players.The emphasis is on teaching young players through fun games. The course consists of 7 hrs of instruction and practice. Attendance is required to receive the ’F’ Certificate. If you are coaching Recreational U-10, you must start at the ‘F’ course. The ‘G’ course is not a pre-requisite. Previous playing or coaching experience cannot be used to waive the ‘F’ course if you coach U-12 Rec. No exceptions. Minimum of 10 registrations required to hold class.
 
Rec E Coaching Course - $30.00
The ’Rec E’ is aimed at coaches of recreational players U-14 and older who are not planning to continue on to the ’D’ course. The course consists of 7 hrs of instruction and practice. Attendance is required to receive the Rec E Certificate. There is no pre-requisite as long as attendees are coaching U-14 or older teams. The Rec E Certificate cannot be used as a pre-requisite for the ’D’ course. If you are coaching at the Recreational level U-14 or older, you can start at the ‘Rec E’ course or the ‘E’ course. The ‘F’ course is not a pre-requisite. Previous playing or coaching experience cannot be used to waive the ‘E’ course if you are coaching U-14 Recreational or older. No exceptions. Minimum of 10 registrations required to hold class.
 
State E Coaching Course - $75.00
 The ’E’ course is an intermediate level course geared towards providing a foundation for coaching players in select programs or the older recreational teams. The course consists of 16 hrs of instruction in the theory and practice of coaching methods. Successful completion is based on attendance only. The ’F’ Certificate is required for attendance. The ’F’ Certificate may be waived for coaches who are coaching competitive players or recreational U-14 or older players. If you are coaching Premier level U-10 or older, Athena level U-10 or older, Academy level, Classic level, or Junior level, you can start at the ‘E’ course. However, in order for you to start at the ‘E’ you must indicate in the attached registration form your current team affiliation and age so that we can verify that you are indeed coaching at the select club level. Minimum of 15 registrations required to hold class.
 
National D Coaching Course - $125.00
The ’D’ course provides a detailed analysis of the modern methods of coaching advanced soccer teenage players. It involves 32 hrs of instruction and testing. Successful completion is based on attendance and passing both a written and a practical coaching test. The ’E’ Certificate is a pre-requisite. The ’Rec E’ certificate is NOT acceptable as a pre-requisite. ’E’ certification may be waived for coaches with college varsity or professional playing experience. Requests for waivers must be in writing to the State Director of Coaching and must be accompanied with documents substantiating playing experience. Minimum of 15 registrations required to hold class. The ’D’ License is $125 for Georgia Soccer Members, but the Fee is $500 for Non-Members. Georgia Soccer Members include Registered Players, Registered Team Coaches, Parents of Registered Players and League Officials.
