Javier Staffanell has been hired as the Director of Recreation Programs at Rockdale Youth Soccer Association. He comes to RYSA after spending 6 years with the Georgia Rush Soccer Club where he coached at the developmental, recreation, athena, and classic levels. He is a 1991 graduate of Georgia State University and currently holds a United States Soccer Federation C license. He is also the co-founder of J & J soccer schools. A native of Colombia, he is also fluent is Spanish.
"Javier will be a great addition to the RYSA family. His experience, knowledge and passion for the game will be an asset to the recreation program," states Director of Coaching, Rafe Mauran. "This is a big step forward for our club. We are committed to giving every child at RYSA a quality soccer experience. Javier will play a major part in making this goal a reality."
