2008 RYSA FRIENDLY RULES

The Friendlies will follow all FIFA, GYSA, and Academy rules, with the exception of roster size.
Roster size is 18 for all ages to allow coaches to assess all or part of their Academy player pool together on one team prior to the season, if desired.

The Friendlies are a festival round-robin format.  No official scores or standings are kept.  Coaches and parents are encouraged to keep the atmosphere fun!  Coaches will be utilizing these pre-season matches as an organized way to assess the players in game situations in preparation for the upcoming Fall 2008 season.

Weather:  Every attempt will be made to play the games as scheduled regardless of weather.  Delays greater than one hour will be posted on the website.  Games unable to be played as scheduled due to weather may be shortened, rescheduled, or cancelled if deemed necessary by the tournament committee.

Refunds:  There will be no refunds.  Only a minimum entry fee to cover the cost of field set-up and referees has been charged for participation in the Friendlies.  The entry fee is non-refundable.

Games:  All games will consist of two 30-minute halves and a 10-minute half time.  The tournament committee and referees reserve the right to shorten the halves if necessary due to weather or extreme heat.  A game card should be provided to the referee at the beginning of each match.  This is used for roster purposes only in case of injury or incident.  No official game score will be kept.

No Protests

Note that the RYSA Soccerplex is a No Smoking and No Pets facility.
